After eight years, 146 housemates and numerous controversies, reality TV show Big Brother has come to an end with the competition's oldest contestant taking out the title.
Grandmother Terri beat bricklayer Rory, 22, and law student Ben, 19, to win the final series of the Network Ten program and $250,000 cash.
The 52-year-old Pauline Hanson supporter said she was shocked and burst into tears.

Suprise Suprise!
What did Rory win?
I can't believe Rory ever found himself in a position of being disappointed for having "just missed out on the money". I am still dumbfounded he was anywhere near the finale. The sight of him yahoo-ing it up on stage while people chanted his name really pissed me off.
Anon, Rory won a phone and broadband interweb, a holiday and a $20K shopping spree at Westiefield.
thanks erk - not bad prizes - better than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick or so i'm told! geez i think i'm funny he he
better late than never - hangover's can be nasty...
My brother said that if Rory had've won, then something would've seriously been wrong with the voting public...I guess the same may have applied to Ben as well. Kinda funny that the boys didn't get a chance to speak at all in that video, but then again, it's all about the winner.
Why do they keep refering Terri as "Pauline Hanson supporter."?
I don't see any of the other housemates' political preferences mentioned, then they are talked or written about.
Anyway, there had to be a winner in the end, so good on her and her face-lift. I'm sorry to say, she needs a bit of work and a few pounds off!
Kerrien, I suppose one of the reasons that the media (Tim included) mention Pauline Hanson in relation to Terri is that the original promos featured it.
