FROM THE GOLD COAST
It was when Mike Goldman was kicked out of the Big Brother crew wrap party after falling in a canal in an attempt to elude security that I knew Big Brother was over.
This is the guy who IS Big Brother after all. Ok he doesn’t do the big man’s voice – but he’s done just about everything else.
And he’s a guy, like all the staff on the Reality TV stalwart; that you grow to love the more you know them.
It was the end of a lack lustre season of the show, which finished not with the usual question being bandied around at this time of year ‘Who do you want to win?’ but ‘Do you care?’
It ended with Ben today blaming the housemates for... click HERE too read on.

I hate to be the spelling Nazi Tim (especially since you were probably hungover as you wrote it), but you misspelt Bert's name - its spelt Bacharach. :oP
*wonders which female housemate is the one gunning for the TV job* Honestly, I have no idea. My initial thought was Bianca, but now I'm thinking Alice or (God help us all) Brigitte. Or neither. Hmmmm...
duly changed...
Hey Tim!
Glad to read you're still in one piece after all that partying.
So, how are those Logans? I did kinda like Greg, it was Dave I couldn't stand. Are you and Greg still friends?
Big Brother went out with a whimper! I can't say I'll miss it too much, BUT Tim, please keep us in touch with all your future activities!
Cheers,
EVAN
Why was poor Mike being removed, too much to drink??
thanks anon. been mates with the logans for ages - especially greg.
I am really going to miss mikie and timmie.
big bro was a family time in my house, my daughter and i would watch it together, friday night was takeaway night, and as i am bedridden, we would eat it in bed and have chocolate and watch a dvd after friday night games, lots of laughing and fun. it was good times. dont know what we will do now. watch better homes and gardens. I hope i will still be able to read your ramblings tim. i enjoy reading them as i am someone who suffers from chronic pain, and having something to read that is different is great. thanks for being entertaining and thought provoking. take care and all the best
thanks hummie- i've got plenty more stuff on my other website www.timbrunero.com - go over and bookmark and visit me every so often.
I will visit you often, i always check to see if you have anything new to say on livenews, thats where i found you. so its good you gave me your site, dumb me i should have found it. must be the painkillers. You have even inspired me to start my own blog, but not too sure if i am going to share. its going to be rather personal so we shall see, bit off topic so will finish here, thanks again tim
While we are sharing what we are doing post BB, on Sunday I am doing a live podcast (Round Table) from 11am. For the first part of the Round Table, I will be interviewing fantasy authors and podcasters Tee Morris and Philippa Ballantine as they prepare to release their next books together on 08/08/08. More detail about the interview is here at:
http://erkpod.wordpress.com/erk-pod-round-table-7-double-trouble/
On topic, I wonder if the voice of BB said "It's time to go ..... Mike Goldman" LOL
good on you hummie...
I actually got hooked into this series after missing most since Tim's after watching the first night of Big Mouth. I actually thought that Big Mouth had the potential to bring a whole new audience to BB or at least win back a number of gen x'ers who had switched off over the years.
Unfortunatley the Terance interview put me of a bit and I never quite enjoyed it as much after that. Still, was mostly very fun especially the contributons from Tim and Tom Gleeson. If BB is ever picked up by another network, I hope that the Big Mouth idea is carried over.
Sorry Tim, I'm going to jump on Shell's bandwagon here with the spelling errors.... it's actually spelt B-U-R-T. Burt with a 'U' not an 'E'.. sorry, couldn't help myself :-p
Some of the comments of big mouth were a bit off. especially from Rebecca. Even though i didnt like Terrence, she went over the top. he had as much right to shower naked as Rory, and she seemed rather happy to look at his naked body in the shower. same with Nobbi. Tim was rather good at interjecting and making great comments, but he seemed to get shut down too often. nathan was great too. I ,must say Vesna was even great, but Tony and Rebecca really were terrible. I think maybe its due to them not being in the zone.
One hopes Tony Squires and Rebecca Wilson never get another TV gig!
If BIG MOUTH had been left to Tim, Nathan, Chrissy and a few other ex-housemates, it would have worked a whole lot better!
Tim, did the Logans share any of that prize money with you? You are Logan Tim after all!
A classic moment from 2005 was Tim and Greg in the foil undies.
Question: will any of this year's contestants go on to careers in the media/tv/radio? I thought Alice might be good on one of those animal rescue shows.
Cheers,
EVAN

you and your followers need to join the cyber and tech world. those that are old enough to know who B-u-r-t B-a-c-h-r-a-c-h and those that care a little, we dopnt give two hoots if its spelt right as long as we can mak out the name.
I had to learn to shorten words eg brb lol,bb,rofl, lmao, tmi,i am sure others can do more. My point is see what i have just done to you jules and shell, i ama horrid person, i am belittled you, its not nice, its not necessary, really is it???? think about it, is spelling really that important in the big scheme of things????
Oh, but yes, Hummie!!!
Shell is 23 and all 23 year olds rule the world and know everything and you have to listen to what they say!!
Oh Kerrien, I had to check three times to make sure i spelt your name right. lol. must be because i am so old. once you get over 40, you are a has been it seems, according to a few people these days. And I am sorry I didn't realise that Shell was at that age. i remember it well. hehehehe. I am just so glad that someone invented spell check in my life time. Oh and btw Shellie belly do you really think anyone would give a tv job to Brigie or Bianca a job??? come on.....please..... what would they do hmmm enlighten me. You may be a speller but you don't come across as a bright spark.
oops that maybe nasty, sorry
:o)
Best tribute to BB '08, evah!

Alright, it seems some people in here have taken me to task. Time to defend myself. *rolls eyes*
(a) First of all, I'm sorry for pointing out spelling mistakes, I couldn't help but point it out. I do know how to abbreviate in this cyber/tech world, but most of the time I choose not to mostly because I don't know 1/2 the abbreviations out there these days. Forgive me for doing so.
(b) Since when did I say that 23 year olds rule the world? That's just taking what I said in a previous statement out of context. I just wanted to offer a different point of view in that particular thread which isn't the norm (and yes, I realised how tragic I am a long time ago, thank you very much) and now it seems its being used against me here. Perhaps I ought to start bleating like some HM's did about how us young'uns get a tough rap from the older generations...
(c) In that top post, I was merely speculating, I don't honestly believe that either one of those 2 mentioned in the above post by hummie would actually get a TV job, which is why I added "or neither" to the end of my post cos that's what you do when you speculate!
Maybe I should've saved my breath, for all I know you two were probably joking (at least until that last part about me not being a bright spark - I've never professed to be uber intelligent hummie :oP)...
P.S. Forgot to add, I do accept the apology, despite everything.
Hey, Shell, just remember I am on pain killers and dont mean anything nasty, so I am not a bright spark either. Since you can write like that you are one above me. :O). I do tend to joke alot, but not alot of people get my humour. I should remember that. I just threw the abbreviation thing in for something to say hehehe. man girl. i am having trouble answering everything. is that enough. pain is bad tonight.
Well I don't know how anyone can be lax about spelling and grammar, my mother was killed by a dangling participle.
