Auditionees Go Face To Face With Big Brother

A select group of sweaty palmed Big Brother housemate hopefuls will go face to face with Big Brother producers in coming weeks as the show’s audition process reaches its final stages.

Finalists have already been sent exhaustive online questionaires covering everything from family history, to relationship status, to bizarre hypotheticals, ‘Who would you rather have dinner with – Nicole Kidman, Ben Cousins or Britney Spears?’.

Potential Housemates were also asked in the leaked questionarie about their bad habits, phobias, ambitions and how they felt about being naked in front of the nation.

One set of questions asks hopefuls, if they were the boss of Australia, would they; Decriminalise drugs? Castrate Paedophiles? Legalise gay marriages? Reintroduce capital punishment? or Abolish the Dole?

The select group of budding Housemates will be preparing themselves for the day-long auditions which involve group work, games, role playing, interviews and a range of other secret activities and tasks.

While all auditionees sign confidentially agreements regarding the goings on the marathon audtion day, they are likely to recognise at least one person from the process if they reach the show itself.

Housemates will also have to consent to being filmed, a Criminal History check, and they must bring a photocopy of their licence or passport.

They will also be forbidden from contacting fellow auditionees or from discussing their participation in the audition process with anyone.

In previous years final auditions have been held in all capital cities.

And while the Big brother journey will be reaching a climax for some, many hopefuls will now be realising they have been unsuccessful.

Potential Housemates have also been told them must be available from late March until mid-August if selected – flagging a potential earlier start to the annual show in 2008.

Big Brother turned the tables of potential housemates this year by asking them to send videos to be judged by their piers rather than turn up to the ‘cattle call’ auditions in major cities as he has for the last six years.

Potential HM’s who make it through the next stage will have to pass a medical examination and a drug test. They will also be sent more questions and extensive psychological profiling materials.
