“Shut up!”
That’s what you can now say to those who whine about BB being an “Olympics of boganism”, who carp that “it’s just full of 22-year-old promo models”, and who bitch that it’s simply show ponies prancing around prettily in the shower waggling their artificial appendages.
You hear it everywhere, from the hand-wringing lefties in Newtown and Brunswick to the Hillsong bible thumpers of Castle Hill to the greying hurumphers of Penrith and Mornington, to the cultural elitists of Darlinghurst and St Kilda. How they love to whine about how the show is not representative of the community, how it’s devoid of genuinely interesting personalities.
